Army Public School (APS) Scholarship Scheme

• Army Public School Scholarship is a scheme from the Indian Embassy which allow Nepali students to study in Indian Army Schools.
• Students must take a written test and attend an interview. Only those who score 50% or more will receive the scholarship.

APS Scholarship allows Nepali students to study from Grade 6 to 9 & 11 only.

Nepali students can apply only to the schools listed above through the APS Scholarship.

How to apply for APS Scholarship

• Application form is usually available in January or February.
• To apply for the APS Scholarship, Nepali students must visit the Indian Embassy office, as the process is offline.
• Students also have to pay Nrs. 400 at Nepal SBI Bank at account number 17725240200331.

Academic Requirements for Scholarship

• Only students who’ve passed the previous class can apply. Appearing candidates aren't allowed.
• Must meet the age criteria as of March 31 of the current year.

Student’s age is strictly checked as per the requirement shown above.

Required Documents for Scholarship

• Create Bio-Data of Student in English with a passport-size photo.
• Create Medical Certificate form any online website or neary by Pharmacy or Hospital.
• Original Deposit Slip (voucher) issued by Nepal SBI Bank after payment of Nrs. 400.
• Citizenship Certificate of both parents (with English translation)
• Character Certificate and Original Letter from the school Principal stating the class the student is currently studying in.

All these documents must be submitted to the Embassy after the application form opens. After that only students who pass the written exam and interview with minimum 50% marks or more will receive the scholarship.
