Compex Nepal Scholarship

• COMPEX is an Indian government scholarship for Nepalese students, funding UG studies in Engineering, Agriculture, Nursing, and Pharmacy in India.
• Students can apply for B. Tech, B. Pharmacy, and B.Sc. (Agriculture, Food Tech, Nursing).

To get the scholarship, you must take an exam, usually held in the first week of August.

Compex Scholarship for 2025

• Application form will be open from 26 June to 9 July 2025, 14 days total.
• The deadline for depositing the application fee at Nepal SBI Bank is 11 July 2025.
• The final date for uploading deposite slip details is 13 July 2025.

How to apply for Compex

• Sign up on the Study in India portal and obtain your SII ID (Study in India Registration ID).
• Use your SII ID to register on the Compex (register) portal.
• After completing the registration form, you will receive an email containing your login ID and password.
• Log in to the Compex (login) portal using the credentials provided in the email.
• Once logged in, click the "Go to Application" button to continue filling out the application form.

The form may take some time to load or process, so please be patient and continue filling it out. Don’t forget to pay NRs. 400 before 11th July to complete your application.

Question Pattern & Syllabus

• Subjects, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.
• Each Subject will have 30 MCQ Questions.
• It will be Computer Based Test (CBT) at different center of Kathmandu.

Students get 1 hour on each subject. Physics, Chemistry & English on one day and Math or Biology on another day.

Academic Requirements for Scholarship

• Age: 16 to 23 years
• Grade: As per eligibility criteria.

If the grade is less than requirement than you can't get the scholarship.

Your age on 1st July of this year will be used to check if you meet the age limit for the scholarship.

Required Documents for Scholarship

• SEE (Grade 10) Mark Sheet.
• +2/CBSE Mark Sheet.
• Citizenship (Passport not required)
• Digital Signature & Personal Photo.

Students awaiting results should receive a college recommendation letter.

For the Digital Signature, sign on a blank white paper and take a photo & for your Personal Photo, just take a proper selfie.

Compex Scholarship Stipend

• Scholarship covers full year university fees.
• You will receive a monthly stipend of ₹7,500 IC
• Mess and food expenses are not included in the scholarship. You can cover costs using the monthly stipend.

Scholarship doesn't cover transportation fees. The scholarship amount will be paid yearly, not monthly.

• Can I get admission at IIT & NIT through Compex Scholarship?
• Can I apply for multiple scholarships at the same time and also during my studies?

You can’t get into IIT or NIT with just the Compex Scholarship you need to clear JEE Advanced. You can apply for other scholarships too, switch colleges, or apply during your studies.
